What is Junior Division?
 
Junior Division is a department that
  • provides academic support services for all students and
  • helps new students make a successful transition into the University.
Junior Division is also a classification for undergraduate students who haven't met requirements Upper Division (PDF) status. This applies to:
  • Freshmen, transfer, reentry, and 25+ students.
  • Admission by Committee students
  • Non-curriculum ready Engineering and Science majors are advised in Junior Division until stipulations and/or developmental requirements are completed.
  • All undeclared majors.
    (must declare a major at/before 45 credit hours).
  • Dental Hygiene Majors
NOTE: Reentry students who were previously admitted to Upper Division should go to Junior Division to ask about eligibility for Upper Division.
