What is an academic advisor meeting all about?

A one on one meeting with an academic advisor is a great way to take control of your educational experience and stay on track towards graduation.

In your meeting, we will develop a plan that meets your needs to be a successful student. Meetings are very easy to set up because they are based on your schedule.

Why should you meet with an academic advisor?
Meetings with an academic advisor are comfortable, low-maintenance, and low-drama. It’s a way for you to talk about your experiences as a student both in and out of the classroom. Conversations will be academic and success focused.

Meetings with an academic advisor are:

  • One time or reoccurring
  • Self identified or faculty/staff identified
  • 30-45 minutes
