Career Counseling Center: Testing

Free Career Testing Software

Choices career development software offers career exploration on the computer. Testing reflects your skills and interests, as well as job opportunities correlated to your personal results. Best of all, you can test at your convenience.

Sigi Plus career development software offers a more in-depth search on what careers may be of interest to you. Testing reflects your skills and interests and what you value in a job. Job opportunities that correlate to your interests and steps on how to achieve your goals are also provided.

Visit the Career Library at Lee Hall Room 110 or call Lucy Gammon at 337-482-5431 for more information.

Vocational Assessment

The purpose of Career or Vocational Assessment is to help individuals identify their interests, skills and abilities, values, and personality or temperament. The essential idea is that the more a person knows about him/herself, the better able they will be to identify careers or occupations that will best suit them for now and later.

The following types of assessments are available at the Career Counseling Center.
  • The Campbell Interest and Skill Survey
  • Self Directed Search
Make appointment in Lee Hall, Room 110, with your student ID.

All test and interpretations will be held in the career counseling center in Lee Hall Room 110.

For more information call 337-482-6818.
